Summer Jazz Combo Day Camp

Summer Jazz Combo Day Camp will take place on Monday, June 17 through Saturday, June 22 from 9 am to noon each day. The camp will be held at Ahwahnee Middle School in Fresno. Ahwahnee is located at 1127 E Escalon Avenue, north of Bullard and just off of First.

The camp is for jazz musicians and aspiring jazz musicians alike, from those just entering middle school to those recently graduated from high school. We have assembled a faculty of outstanding jazz educators and musicians who will lead jazz combos and provide master classes and instruction in jazz theory and improvisation for kids playing at every level.

Registration to the camp is limited, so be sure to sign up early! To ensure the opportunity is available to as many children as possible, the cost to attend the camp is just $125 (There is a $25 credit for kids who attend school outside the Fresno-Clovis area to assist with transportation costs). That’s about $7 per hour for world-class instruction!
